Sushant Googled his name, read some search results before ‘suicide’

The police are further investigating Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Now, a new detail with regard to the actor’s last 10 Google searches is doing the rounds. The primary forensic report of the late actor’s mobile phone revealed the details of his Google searches, which included his own name and news related to himself.

Furthermore, the MS Dhoni: The Untold Story actor listened to some songs as per the data collected from the forensic report.

According to the forensic report, Sushant searched for his name on Google at 10:15 AM on 14 June. The Google search history of his phone reveals that he wrote ‘Sushant Singh Rajput’ on the website and read a few articles on his and some news reports.

Meanwhile, actress Sanjana Sanghi, who stars in Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara, bid adieu to Mumbai in an Instagram story posted on Wednesday afternoon. “Khuda hafiz, Mumbai. Chaar mahine baad apke darshan hue. Main chali Delhi vaapis. Aapki sadke kuch alag si lagi, sunsaan thi, shayaad mere dil mein jo dukh hai, mere nazariye ko badal rahe hain, ya shayaad filhaal aap bhi thode dukh mein hain,” read Sanjana Sanghi’s post.

Police claim Sushant committed suicide on 14 June although the mark around his neck and condition of the face convinced few others it was a case of hanging.

The actor’s last rites took place the next day. His father had flown down to Mumbai for the funeral. The late actor’s ashes were immersed in the Ganga river in his hometown Patna.

The police ruled out foul play and declared that Sushant committed suicide, but there was no explanation why the successful actor would take the drastic step of ending his life. The cops called people related to the actor for an investigation. They interrogated his close friend Rhea Chakraborty for approximately nine hours.

Mumbai Police is currently investigating the case. Twenty-eight people, including members of his family, work associates, close friends and household staff, have been questioned so far.

During the interrogation, some of Sushant’s friends informed the police that he was under stress. They said he might have felt someone was trying to tarnish his image. The actor often used to discuss reports published about him in magazines and newspapers with his team.

Sushant’s sudden death has sent shockwaves across the country. His fans haven’t yet been able to come to terms with his death. Meanwhile, the prevalence of nepotism in the industry is again the talk of the town.

Rajput’s final post-mortem report confirmed that he died by asphyxia due to hanging. The Mumbai Police also ruled any foul play in his suicide case.

The Mumbai Police had received a copy of his contract with the Yash Raj Films. Sushant Singh Rajput had worked in two movies of the banner — Shuddh Desi Romance and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!. His third film, Paani, to be directed by Shekhar Kapur, was shelved; the production house reportedly backed out due to some “creative differences” with the director.

Sushant was the star of films such as Kai Po Che!, Shuddh Desi Romance, PK, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Raabta, Kedarnath, Sonchiriya and Chhichhore. He debuted in Bollywood after ruling the TV industry for years.
