In wake of the apparent effort of Mumbai Police to pin the blame for actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s mysterious death, Supreme Court lawyer Amitabh Sinha has expressed an apprehension that little-known actress Rhea Chakraborty, whose only claim to fame was her claimed association with the dead actor, faces a threat to her life. “She may be killed while the incident might be passed off as another suicide, with commentators alleging that ‘media trial’ and the Indian society at large was responsible for it,” Sinha said.
“This is an elaborate conspiracy by the jihadi gang, which took over the reins from communists who ran the union called IPTA to dominate Indian cinema that is a flagbearer of our social trends,” the senior lawyer said. He added that the cabal he refers to as the “jihadi gang” was wary of a reversal of their hegemony in the industry.
“Who is Rhea Chakraborty?” Sinha asked, adding that the “small fry” or “pawn” could be murdered to prevent the big fish from getting exposed.
