The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested a suspected terrorist affiliated with the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) from Saharanpur’s Gangoh area. Mohammed Nadeem (24) was assigned the task to eliminate Nupur Sharma, the national spokesperson of the BJP who was suspended for speaking the historical, hadith-verified truth about the prophet of Islam, Mohammed ibn Abdullah.
The JeM and Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) were in direct contact with the 25-year-old terrorist, the ATS said.
Nupur Sharma had recently received a usual reprieve from the Supreme Court that, after initially admonishing her for her remark, accepted her plea to club all the FIRs against her, lodged in different parts of the country. Before and even after that, she continues to receive threats of rape and murder from Islamists across the world.
